Candidiasis
I had cholestasis during pregnancy resulting in an induced vaginal delivery in October 2019. Since November I have had a severe candidiasis in my nipples which expanded into vaginal candida last month. For candida in my nipples I have been treated and my baby with topical creams: gentian violet, Nistatine, Pimafucin and Imacort (just for me). I took all of those creams, but they did not work very well. I was fully breastfeeding until 2 weeks ago then I decided to stop since the candida is causing me depression and fatigue. I have seen a dermatologist since some parts of my body (skin) was itching and she gave me some topical creams as well. I have visited a psychiatrist for sleeping disorders and anxiety, I take Trittico AC 150 (Trazodone) and Neurol 0,25 mg, respectively. I took Dostinex 0,5 mg to stop my milk production.
Regarding the treatment for vaginal Candidiasis, the pills Klion D100 did not work. Now taking Fluconazol 100 mg during 14 days. I would like to see some specialist as I consider my case a cronic Candidiasis perhaps a Gastroenterologist since this problem is more serious than it looks like.
